Clouse 1 year session

Last month I got the chance to photograph this sweet little guy for his first birthday. It doesn't seem like it has been a whole year since I did his fresh 48 pictures. Since the weather was a bit cool we decided to do indoor pictures so we borrowed The Livingston Dance Studio in Livingston, Tennessee. So I want to say a big thank you to Mrs. Elizabeth for letting us borrow it. I usually do outdoor portrait photography, so it was nice to get the chance to change it up a bit. Here's a small sampling of the images from this session. Thanks for looking! Be sure to check out the lifestyle session I did for them last year here.

Family Pictures for the New Year!

I am way behind on the blog posts, but maybe I will get caught up. While my sister and her husband were in for Christmas, my mom decided she wanted everyone (including the dog) to get together for some pictures. So, on New Year's Eve it was actually not raining for once (it rained practically the whole month of December). Everyone came over to our house for pictures. Luckily our cousin Marah was here that day so I put her to pressing the shutter button on the camera. Using the tripod, I set everything up and she pressed the button so that I wouldn't have to use the remote. As you will see, she did a very good job at capturing everything. I guess this is what happens when you have a crazy sister and a 10 year old in charge of the camera. So, here are some photos from that day.

Melton Anniversary

It has taken awhile but I finally got all the pictures done from the anniversary on July 19. I am so happy with how they turned out! We had so much fun at the party. There are too many pictures to include all of them but here are a few to look at.

These were taken with Canon 70D and Tamron 24-70 lens. Most were shot at f/2.8. I edited them in Lightroom. For a lot of them I used the Kubota Workflow and KIT Vintage Delish presets. I really like these presets, they are very versatile. I also used the portrait brushes from Pretty Presets in a lot of the pictures.
